    1. Actually, none of these photos are taken by professional or even trained photographers. Some of the pictures were even captured with a point and shoot! Just really look around and have a good eye for what is potentially a great photo. I also edit mine a bit to show what I actually remember vs what the photo shows because I wasn’t trained to use manual at this point in time. However, if you’re serious about taking better photographs, getting a DSLR and taking some classes is a must!

  2. OMG those pictures are amazing! The lake pictures look stunning! Did you swim in any of the lakes or is the water too cold?
    I love mountains and skiing. I really want to go skiing and wine tasting in NZ!

    1. Thanks for checking out my blog Alaine! I did not swim in the lakes because it was a combo of being too lazy a bit too cold for my liking. My fiancé did however swim in Lake Pukaki and the pictures I look made it look magical! I didn’t get to ski or wine tasting but if I ever go back, it will be on my list!
